Our Young Dancer Intensives are perfect for dancers who are eager to take their training to the next level! Dancers will refine their artistry, develop confidence, and sharpen their skills through classes of various styles and exciting activities. Each week culminates in an exciting in-studio performance where dancers will have the chance to dazzle their caretakers and friends!

Dance & Design Discovery Intensive

June 2nd-6th, 2025: Grant Park

9am-3pm

Unleash your creativity and elevate your dance skills at our Dance & Design Young Dancer Intensive! This dynamic program, focuses on both building strong technique and exploring the art of performance and production. Throughout the week, dancers will refine their technique in ballet, jazz, and contemporary styles, while also learning the behind-the-scenes magic of dance production.

Hollywood Hits Intensive

May 27th-30th, 2025: Grant Park

9am-3pm

Lights, camera, action! Step into the spotlight at our Hollywood Hits Young Dancer Intensive, designed for dancers who are ready to take their skills to the next level. This exciting program focuses on building strong technique and versatility through ballet, jazz, hip hop, musical theater, and contemporary styles, all inspired by the glamour and excitement of Hollywood's greatest hits.

Shake it Off! Intensive

June 23rd-27th, 2025: Ormewood Square Annex (Rise City Annex)

9am-3pm

Calling all Swifties! Get ready to dance your heart out at our Shake It Off! Young Dancer Intensive, designed for dancers who are ready to channel their inner superstar. This exciting intensive features ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and choreography inspired by the iconic Eras Tour!

The Greats Intensive

July 14th-18th, 2025: Ormewood Square Annex (Rise City Annex)

9am-3pm

Take a step into the spotlight and honor the legends of dance at our The Greats Young Dancer Intensive, designed for dancers who are ready to embrace the timeless artistry of ballet and musical theater. This inspiring program focuses on ballet, jazz, musical theater, and ballet variations, all rooted in the classics that have defined the stage.

Circus Adventure Intensive

July 21st-25th, 2025: Grant Park

9am-3pm

Step right up for our Circus Adventure Young Dancer Intensive, designed for dancers who are ready to explore the magic of movement and storytelling! This thrilling program combines ballet, acro, musical theater, and contemporary dance, all wrapped in the vibrant and whimsical theme of the circus.

  • Camp Cancellation Policy: 100% tuition is due upon registration. In the event of withdrawal, 50% may be credited to your account for future use. 50% is non-transferable. Neighborhood Ballet is unable to offer any refunds for camps at this time. No credit can be given for withdrawals within two weeks of camp beginning.

  • Our Young Dancer Intensives are 6 hours filled dance classes of various styles, themed activities and crafts, and a snack break and lunch. These intensives are created to keep your dancer learning, moving, and growing - they’ll have the opportunity to deepen their technique, learn new skills, and perform to their hearts’ content. We ensure that each camp week includes various dance styles to keep dancers engaged and expand their range.

    At the end of the week we have a showing for caregivers to see the all we’ve learned in camp!

  • Dancers should wear a leotard and tights. An alternate option is a white (or Neighborhood Ballet) t-shirt and black leggings. Dancers should additionally bring dance shorts/shorts, leggings/dance pants, and a t-shirt for classes of various styles. Dancers should bring their ballet shoes, and then jazz and hip hop shoes (clean sneakers) if the week requires.

  • Please send your dancer with the appropriate shoes and additional clothing items according to the week. Dancers should bring a clearly labeled water bottle, a snack, and lunch. Please only pack NUT FREE food items. If your dancer has an allergies we should know about, please let us know upon arrival.

    Please avoid glass containers for snacks and lunch, these break easily on our concrete floors.

  • Drop off begins at the camp start time (9:00am). Please do not drop your dancer off any sooner as our staff and teachers will be preparing for the exciting day ahead!

  • Please pick your dancer up promptly at the conclusion of camp. All camp sessions end at 3:00 PM.

  • Caregivers, friends, and loved ones are invited into the studio on Friday at 2:30 PM to see what their dancers have learned!
