At Neighborhood Ballet, we believe that wearing studio uniforms give students a sense of belonging to our family as well as creating an identity for our studio in the greater community. Dressing appropriately gives dancers confidence and helps our teachers better see body lines so they can help their students become the best dancer they be!
Dress Code
Dresscode Guidelines:
NB's dress code is fluid and all dancers are encouraged to wear the uniform option they feel best fits their gender expression. Dancers are welcome to mix and match uniform components from the options listed in our Uniform Supply List to create a uniform that makes them feel comfortable and excited to show up to class each and every day!
Hair should not get in the way of your child's dancing. Dancers with hair chin length or longer must wear their hair pulled back out of their face or in a traditional ballet bun for class. Dancers with short hair must have their hair secured neatly off their face in a way that will not distract from class.
If you need help learning how to put your child's hair in a bun, let our staff know and we can help you!
