No need to travel far — register your dancer for a summer of new experiences, an outlet for all that extra energy, and every opportunity to unleash their imaginations! We offer a variety of camps to inspire, engage, and allow your kiddo to ignite their creativity.

  • I’m sure you can imagine, we at Neighborhood Ballet love ballet, but did you also know we’re pretty crazy about Broadway too? During this camp your dancer will do not one style of dance, but TWO! We’ll travel to the big apple and join New York’s finest dancing through the very best of ballet and broadway. At the end of the week we’ll finish with our very own show under the big lights!

  • Summertime is for adventures. One of our favorite ways to travel is by using our imaginations. It’s time to curl up with a good book or maybe put your dancing shoes on… Or why not both? During this fun camp we are combining two of our favorite things: dancing and telling stories! We’ll read classic fairy tales, learn about our favorite story ballets and immerse ourselves in each tale through crafts, movement and other fun activities.

  • Allons-y, mes amis! Let’s go, friends! Say “bonjour” to the adventure of a lifetime as we travel through Paris with our perfectly pink tour guide, Barbie! We’ll explore the Louvre, eat delicious pastries and see beautiful dancers along the way. Grab your passport and let’s go!

  • Get ready for a dance adventure 65 million years in the making! Scientists for years and years have wondered the great question: Did dinosaurs dance? At Neighborhood Ballet, they sure do! Send us your T. rexes and triceratops to a dance camp that’s practically prehistoric. We’ll have all kinds of crafts, activities, and dancing to keep your dancer roaring with glee!

  • Let’s get WILD! During this camp we’ll be hanging up our ballet slippers for some jazz and hip hop! If you have a little one who loves to dance, sign them up for this week of jazz moves and hip hop grooves in the jungle! We’ll make some noise during this camp!

  • Whether you like to dig in the dirt or fly through the sky, this camp is for you! We’ll be bringing the outdoors into the studio exploring the way different critters move. We’ll dart like dragonflies, crawl like caterpillars and fly like butterflies all while dancing and learning. Join us for a week of creepy crawly fun!

  • Camp Cancellation Policy: 100% tuition is due upon registration. In the event of withdrawal, 50% may be credited to your account for future use. 50% is non-transferable. Neighborhood Ballet is unable to offer any refunds for camps at this time. Thank you for your understanding!

  • This year, we are offering our Little Dancer Camps at our Ormewood Park and Northlake Studios! Our Morning and Afternoon sessions will be available at Ormewood Park and our Northlake studio will only have Morning sessions.

  • Our Little Dancer Camps are 3 hours filled with movement, music, crafts and a snack. These camps are created to immerse your dancer in the theme- from the moment they walk into the studio they'll be able to color and explore themed activities. The day will include storytime, a full dance class, crafting and/or coloring, group activities, and learning choreography. At the end of the week we have a showing for caregivers to see the exciting adventures we've taken in camp!

  • Dancers should wear something they're comfortable in that allows them to move freely. This may mean a leotard and tights or leggings and a T-shirt. Keep in mind that we do have crafts, so don't send your dancer in their fanciest attire. Ballet shoes are required as footwear. All of these items can be purchased at our boutique!

  • Please send your dancer with a water bottle, snack, and change of clothes, all labeled clearly with their name. All snacks must be NUT FREE to ensure a safe environment for all dancers. If your dancer has any allergies we should know about, please let us know upon arrival. Please avoid glass containers for snacks, these break easily on our concrete floors.

  • Drop off begins 10 minutes prior to the camp start time. Caregivers will be asked to sign their dancer in each day, at which time they should also note important information like allergies and emergency contacts.

  • Please pick your dancer up promptly at the conclusion of camp. All morning sessions end at 12:00 PM and afternoon sessions end at 4:00 PM. Caregivers will be required to sign their dancer out at pick up.

  • Caregivers, friends, and loved ones are invited into the studio on Friday to see what their dancers have learned! Morning sessions will show at 11:45 AM. Afternoon sessions will show at 3:45 PM. Bring your camera - you won't want to miss capturing these precious moments!
