Recital Pictures with our very own Artistic Director/Founder and photographer extraordinaire, Rebecca Harman! These quick and easy 5 minute slots will capture your dancer in all their recital glory — donning their recital costumes and smiling big for the camera!
Limited spots available — book ahead of time!
Recital Fees
Recital Fee: $149 per dancer
For those newly enrolling in February and onward, please email us at info@theneighborhoodballet.com to let us know if your dancer would like to participate in recital or not. For those that are participating, the fee will be drafted from your account.
Includes costume, digital recording of the performance, and t-shirt.
Assists with administrative and staffing costs.
Tickets are sold separately and will go live closer to the show.
Fee increases to $169 if payment is late.
Non-refundable; if you discontinue class, your dancer will still receive their costume when distributed.
All accounts must be up to date before dancer receives their costume.
Additional Costume: $70 each for dancers in multiple classes

Participation is strongly encouraged as it builds confidence and showcases your dancer’s hard work.
Scheduling Notes
Siblings: We do our best to place siblings in the same show, but this is not guaranteed. If we cannot accommodate, you will receive four complimentary tickets to the performance of your choice.
Multiple Classes: We aim to place dancers in multiple classes in the same show but cannot guarantee this.
Class Deadline:
February 15th - Class Switch Deadline
After this date, no class changes will be accepted to ensure dancers are prepared to perform confidently.
March 1st - Recital Participation Deadline
No students can participate in recital after March 1st. This deadline is also pending costume availability.
Show Assignments:
When reviewing the assignments, please take extra care to locate your dancer’s class. With many classes of the same type offered this season—across various studios, times, and days—it’s important to carefully cross-reference the Class Name, Class Time, Location, and Teacher to ensure you note the correct Show Assignment.

Yes! We love having parents volunteer as class chaperones backstage. Volunteers do not need to purchase show tickets and will get a special up-close view of their dancer’s class from the stage wings.

Participation in Spring Recital is strongly encouraged and considered an important part of the overall dance experience. Being part of a performance helps build self-esteem and self-confidence and gives students a chance to showcase the results of all of their hard work, dedication, and progress. It is one of our very favorite days of the year and we know that your dancer will cherish the memories made on stage with their friends!
All dancers in Creative Movement and up are invited to perform in our annual recital.

Tickets will go on sale in April. They can be purchased through the Ferst Center box office.

For safety reasons and the best viewing experience for our audience, Neighborhood Ballet does not allow any photography or video recording at any of our shows. The recording of the performance is a distraction to the dancers and disrupts the viewing experience for those around you. The recital will be recorded by a professional videographer and a digital copy of the video is included in your recital fee.

For the safety of our dancers, the only parents allowed backstage are the dressing room parent volunteers. You will sign your dancer in for dress rehearsal prior to the show, and then you will see them again when the show is over.

Hanging costumes in the bathroom during a shower helps to take out the wrinkles.
Medical tape can be placed in inside seams to help with any itchiness.
Keep costumes stored securely in their garment bag and out of reach of dancers until show day. We cannot replace damaged costumes or lost hairpieces.
