We are a community of teachers, students, and families who are passionate about the performing arts, community, and life-long learning. Teaching Positions

Responsibilities include…

  • Greet students and/or parents coming into class, passing in the lobby, etc.

  • Plan lessons progressively, reviewing previously taught steps and continuing on with new material. If lesson plans are not working on a particular day, the problem is recognized and the teacher is flexible enough to change plans for the class according to the situation.

  • Establish clear and fair discipline for students, communicate expectations, and consistently hold to rules established for students throughout the class

  • Create an inclusive environment

  • Make class FUN. Use creative thinking in teaching using imagery, especially for younger students.

  • Music and choreography are appropriate to style, speed, and theme in relation to age groups for recital

Birthday and Event Coordinator

  • Event Coordinator (Part-Time)
    Neighborhood Ballet – Grant Park, Atlanta, GA

    Neighborhood Ballet, a vibrant dance studio in Grant Park, is seeking an energetic Part-Time Event Coordinator to lead and grow our events program. Ideal for someone who enjoys creating memorable experiences for families and thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

    Position Details:

    • Location: Grant Park, Atlanta, GA

    • Schedule: Part-time, weekends required

    • Compensation: Based on experience; performance-based increases available

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and run birthday parties, studio rentals, and community events

    • Be the main contact for clients, from inquiry to event day

    • Manage bookings, supplies, timelines, and staffing

    • Ensure smooth setup, cleanup, and excellent customer experience

    • Track leads, meet monthly booking/revenue goals

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Experience in events, hospitality, or customer service

    • Confident with sales and follow-up

    • Organized, proactive, and enjoys working with families

    • Available weekends/evenings

    • Bonus: familiarity with dance or performing arts
