Part-Time Events Ballerina/Teacher
Neighborhood Ballet is looking for an enthusiastic, magical, and responsible Events Ballerina/Teacher to support Birthday Parties and other special events at our Grant Park/Marchon studio!
The Part-Time Events Ballerina/Teacher at Neighborhood Ballet serves as the on-site teacher lead during events, teaching magical classes and leading activities, ensuring the attendees are having a blast, and working to make memories that will last kiddos a lifetime! This individual knows how to bring the sparkle while enforcing safe and engaging studio practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in teaching dance, childcare, or events preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in leading small groups.
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow established procedures.
Comfortable working evenings and weekends.
Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic about engaging with children and families.
Compensation
Flat Birthday Party & special event fee equivalent to $22-$25/hour dependent upon experience.
Entry-Level Dance Teacher
Neighborhood Ballet is looking for a Entry-Le Dance Teacher to support beginner and intermediate-level classes for children ages 3–10. This is a wonderful opportunity for a college student, recent grad, or early-career dancer who loves working with kids and wants to grow as a teacher in a supportive, community-focused studio. You’ll assist with classes, occasionally step in as a substitute, and help prepare students for performances—all while creating a fun and encouraging environment for young dancers.
Qualifications:
Extensive training in dance
Enthusiasm for working with children
Reliable, positive, and professional
Teaching or assistant experience a plus (but not required—we’ll provide mentorship!)
