Company Bound dancers are required to take two ballet classes and one jazz class per week during the season. Company Bound consists of four levels: Sapphire, Amethyst, Ruby, and Emerald. Dancers are placed according to age.

In addition to our regular season, Company Bound dancers have summer requirements so that they can keep sharpening their technique and maintain momentum with their training. Summer training also exposes Company Bound dancers to a wider range of dance styles and incredible guest faculty! Dancers are required to take a combination of summer intensives and classes throughout June and July. (Two weeks of intensives + supplemental classes, OR Four weeks of intensives — no supplemental classes required.)

Company Bound dancers are offered special performances opportunities in addition to the annual Spring Recital! Each CB level gets a special role in Rise City Dance’s Holiday Spectacular as well as the Spring Concert. These additional performance opportunities help dancers explore their artistry and improve their stage presence!

While Company Bound is not part of our youth company, Rise City Dance, it is a great stepping stone for those dancers who may be interested in our performing company in the future. With the additional training of our CB program, dancers are prepared to join Rise City Dance where they will unlock new dance dreams and be provided with the tools to achieve them!

Company Bound is open to dancers 6-10 years. At the end of every season, we hold a Spring audition open to all dancers within this age range. Recreational level dancers may be invited to audition per teacher recommendation.
